Yes you have read it absolutely right!

In a recent poster project at G.D. Goenka Public School (Rajnagar Extension, Ghaziabad), the great patriot Shaheed Chandra Shekhar Azad is termed as ‘A revolutionary terrorist’. The person who laid his life for the country is still considered as a terrorist by the elite of this country.

When someone took a pic of this poster and the word spread, there got a great discontent in the public of the nearby localities and the parents of the school kids.

Thus, they decided to stage a protest to this grave mistake of the school. The school was thus forced to render an apology letter.

School’s Version

However, the school has a different version to state. As per school’s Principal Mrs. Rina Singh the allegations are all wrong and the school is providing good value system to their students. You can hear her version below.

The following comment on one FB post is also very interesting and provide a different perspective on the whole issue.

Lessons to learn

It is evident that our beloved revolutionary freedom fighters are still being termed as terrorists at many places in media and even university books.

This year in April a media report revealed that a book, which forms part of the Delhi University’s History curriculum calls Bhagat Singh a revolutionary terrorist. The book titled India’s Struggle for Independence, authored by historians Bipin Chandra and Mridula Mukherjee, mentions Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Surya Sen and others as revolutionary terrorists in Chapter 20.

Now, it is our duty as parents to narrate the great stories of our freedom fighters to our kids so that even when they read the skewed history which is a part of the evil ploy of the super secularists, yellow journalists and so called communists, they, rather than believing that crap, can confront with real facts. There is no other way to make these people and their intentions redundant!
